Another day, another scandal from the corrupt United Nations. This time, it's U.N. "peacekeepers" in Haiti who stand accused of sexual exploitation and abuse - and investigators have confirmed that all four allegations are "substantiated."
The U.N.-backed security mission in Haiti, staffed primarily by Kenyan police and military officers, is now under investigation for these disturbing crimes. But here's what the mainstream media won't tell you: this is just the latest in a decades-long pattern of U.N. peacekeeping forces abusing the very people they're supposed to protect.
While American taxpayers continue to fund roughly 22% of the U.N.'s bloated budget, we're essentially bankrolling an organization that repeatedly fails to hold its forces accountable for heinous crimes against vulnerable populations.
Where's the Accountability?
The timing of this revelation couldn't be more telling. As President Trump works to restore America's sovereignty and put America First, the U.N. continues to prove it's nothing more than a globalist bureaucracy that operates with impunity.
This isn't some isolated incident, patriots. U.N. peacekeepers have been implicated in sexual abuse scandals from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Central African Republic to Haiti - the same Haiti where they caused a deadly cholera outbreak that killed thousands.
"The United Nations has become a playground for predators and a money pit for American taxpayers," critics argue, and incidents like this only strengthen their case.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration's previous support for expanded U.N. missions looks even more reckless in hindsight. Thank God we have leadership now that puts American interests first instead of bowing down to these corrupt international organizations.
It's time to ask the hard questions: Why are we funding an organization that can't even protect innocent civilians from its own forces? How many more scandals will it take before America says enough is enough?
