HYPOCRITE ALERT: Dem Rep. Quigley Cries 'Blow to Democracy' Over GOP Using Same Reconciliation Tactics Democrats Abused for Years

The hypocrisy is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL) had the audacity to complain on MSNBC that Republicans using budget reconciliation to fund ICE and CBP operations represents "a real blow to rule-making and the democratic process."

Really, Congressman? Where was this righteous indignation when your party used reconciliation to ram through trillions in wasteful spending during the Biden regime?

Patriots on social media aren't buying Quigley's crocodile tears. Twitter user @PattiRaddi2 called out the Illinois Democrat directly, posting "@QuigleyCampaign you're so full of it" in response to his complaints about the GOP's border security funding strategy.

This is classic Democrat playbook material, folks. When they're in power, reconciliation is a perfectly legitimate legislative tool to push through massive spending bills and radical agenda items. But the moment Republicans use the same process to actually SECURE our border and fund the agencies protecting American citizens, suddenly it's an assault on democracy itself.

"Republicans want to bypass the normal appropriations process to fund their mass deportation agenda," Quigley whined during his MSNBC appearance.

Let's get one thing straight: there's nothing abnormal about using reconciliation to fund critical government operations. What WAS abnormal was Democrats ignoring the border crisis for four years while spending trillions on Green New Deal pet projects and woke initiatives.

The Trump Administration is simply using every available tool to deliver on the mandate the American people gave them in November 2024. Voters demanded secure borders, mass deportation of illegal immigrants, and an end to the invasion that Biden and his cronies enabled for years.

Social media users like @Chris_1791 are sharing Quigley's comments far and wide, ensuring Americans see exactly how Democrats operate when they're not getting their way.

Here's what Quigley and his fellow Democrats really can't stand: President Trump and the Republican Congress are actually keeping their promises to the American people. After years of watching our border get overrun while Democrats spent money like drunken sailors, patriots finally have a government that puts America First.

The only "blow to democracy" here is Quigley's attempt to obstruct the will of the voters who elected Trump specifically to clean up the border mess Democrats created.

Wait, can someone remind me how many times Democrats used reconciliation during Obama and Biden's terms? I remember it being quite a few but want to get my facts straight before sharing this.

Off the top of my head: Obamacare fixes in 2010, Trump tax cuts reversal attempts, COVID spending, infrastructure... it's been their go-to move.

Classic projection from the left - accuse your opponents of exactly what you've been doing for years.

I remember watching Pelosi and Schumer celebrate using reconciliation to bypass Republican input completely. Now they're crying about parliamentary procedures? Give me a break.

The double standards from these Democrats are absolutely staggering. They used reconciliation to ram through Obamacare and trillions in spending, but now it's suddenly a 'threat to democracy' when Republicans use the same rules?

Exactly! They literally used it for the American Rescue Plan and Infrastructure bills just last year.

This is why I can't take these politicians seriously anymore. Zero self-awareness and pure partisan hypocrisy.
