Just weeks into President Trump's second term, establishment Republicans are already showing their true colors. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC), who's mercifully retiring, has declared war on Trump's attorney general nominees by threatening to block anyone who doesn't toe the Deep State line on January 6th.
Tillis announced he won't support any AG candidate who "makes excuses" for the January 6th Capitol protest – you know, the same event where patriots were waved into the building by Capitol Police and then thrown into solitary confinement for years without trial.
This backstabbing comes after reports that President Trump fired Attorney General Pam Bondi, with Deputy AG Todd Blanche stepping in temporarily. But instead of supporting his president's constitutional right to choose his cabinet, Tillis is playing right into the hands of the same swamp creatures Trump was elected to drain.
The Swamp Strikes Back
"For me, the line is drawn," Tillis reportedly said, as if anyone asked for his opinion. This is the same senator who has consistently undermined the America First agenda while pretending to be a Republican.
Patriots need to ask themselves: Why is Tillis so desperate to protect the January 6th narrative? Could it be because the truth about federal involvement, planted agitators, and constitutional violations might finally come to light under a real attorney general?
President Trump pardoned the J6 political prisoners for a reason – because they were victims of a two-tiered justice system that Tillis apparently wants to preserve.
America First vs. Establishment Last
This is exactly why Trump's MAGA movement exists. While everyday Americans suffer under open borders, crime, and economic warfare, establishment Republicans like Tillis are more concerned with protecting the Deep State's favorite talking points.
The good news? Tillis is retiring, which means North Carolina voters will finally get a chance to elect a real conservative who actually supports the president they voted for.
