Virginia's Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger is doing what Democrats do best when caught red-handed in a power grab – she's running away from accountability.
Former Republican Governor George Allen called out Spanberger's cowardice on Friday after she REFUSED to debate him over the Democrats' shameless redistricting scheme designed to steal four more House seats for her party.
With Virginia's April 21 special election fast approaching, Spanberger apparently doesn't have the guts to defend her party's blatant gerrymandering plot in front of the voters. Instead, she's hiding behind her office while Democrats work overtime to rig the electoral map in their favor.
The Democrat Redistricting Scam Exposed
Let's be crystal clear about what's happening here, Patriots. Virginia Democrats aren't interested in "fair representation" or any of their usual talking points. This is a calculated attempt to manipulate district lines to guarantee themselves four additional House seats – potentially helping them retake Congress and obstruct President Trump's America First agenda.
Allen's challenge to debate was completely reasonable. The people of Virginia deserve to hear both sides argue their case before this critical vote. But Spanberger knows her position is indefensible, so she's taking the coward's way out.
"Governor Spanberger's refusal to engage in open debate shows she knows her redistricting scheme can't stand up to scrutiny," Allen declared in his Friday statement.
This is exactly the kind of anti-democratic behavior we've come to expect from today's radical Democrat Party. They talk endlessly about "protecting democracy" while simultaneously rigging the system to maintain their grip on power.
