A shocking scandal has erupted around Texas Democrat Bobby Pulido, who is running to flip a U.S. House seat red to blue, after reports revealed he toured for years with a convicted child sex offender – and continued performing with him even AFTER knowing about his criminal history.
The two-time Latin Grammy winner performed countless concerts alongside accordionist Frankie Caballero, who was convicted of second-degree felony indecent contact with an 8-year-old girl and served four years in prison. But here's the kicker – Pulido kept touring with the registered sex offender even after Caballero's release in 2014.
"Texas Dem toured for years with bandmate who was a registered sex offender for indecent contact with 8-year-old girl," reported @NahBabyNahNah on social media, highlighting how Pulido's own representative could only offer that "Bobby extends his deepest sympathies and support to all of the victims involved."
Social media erupted as news broke across Texas. @DaltonReport noted that the duo "toured together after Caballero's 4-year prison sentence for the second-degree felony" while @BrownsvilleNews spread word of the bombshell revelation throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
What makes this story even more damning? Despite being caught on tape admitting he knew about Caballero's criminal history and actually PRAISING him as recently as November 2025, Pulido now claims he was somehow unaware of his bandmate's conviction.
This is exactly the kind of judgment – or lack thereof – that Texas families simply cannot afford in Congress. While Republicans are focused on protecting children and securing our border, Democrats are literally sharing the stage with convicted child predators.
Is this really the kind of "representation" Texas voters want in Washington? A candidate who either knowingly performed with a child sex offender for over a decade, or was too incompetent to vet his own bandmates? Either way, Bobby Pulido has disqualified himself from serving the people of Texas.
