TRUMP DELIVERS: 2027 Budget SLASHES $73 Billion in Government Waste, BOOSTS Defense

President Donald Trump just delivered on another major campaign promise, releasing a 2027 budget that takes a chainsaw to government waste while ensuring our military remains the most powerful force on Earth.

The White House budget proposal, released Friday, would slash a massive $73 billion from nondefense spending compared to 2026 levels, while boosting defense spending by $445 billion. This is exactly what Patriots voted for – a president who puts America's security first while dismantling the bloated administrative state.

DOGE Efficiency in Action

This budget bears the clear fingerprints of Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency initiative. While the Biden regime spent four years throwing taxpayer money at every woke pet project imaginable, Trump is getting back to basics: fund what keeps Americans safe, cut everything else.

Think about it – $73 billion in government fat trimmed away. That's money that can stay in YOUR pocket instead of funding diversity consultants, climate change bureaucrats, and other Deep State parasites who produce nothing but more red tape.

"We're going to run government like a business again, not like a charity for special interests," a senior administration official told reporters.

The defense spending increase shows Trump understands that peace comes through strength. While Democrats want to defund everything that actually protects Americans, Trump is ensuring our military has every tool needed to deter China, Iran, and other threats to our homeland.

Swamp Creatures Already Crying

Of course, the usual suspects are already howling about these common-sense cuts. Democrats and their media allies will claim Trump is "gutting essential services," but what they really mean is he's eliminating their slush funds and bureaucratic empires.

This budget represents a fundamental choice: Do we want a government that serves the people, or a government that serves itself? Trump has made his choice crystal clear.

The question now is whether Republicans in Congress will have the backbone to pass this budget and deliver real change for the American people. After the decisive 2024 mandate, they have no excuse for failure.

Couldn't agree more! It's refreshing to see a president who actually understands fiscal responsibility.

Question: does this include cuts to the EPA and Department of Education? Those agencies have been out of control for decades and need serious downsizing.

As someone who works in federal contracting, I can tell you there's SO much more waste that could be cut. This is just the beginning. The bureaucratic bloat I see daily would shock most Americans.

My grandfather always said government grows like a weed if you don't cut it back regularly. Trump's doing the pruning that should have happened years ago. Now let's see if Congress has the backbone to pass it.

Strong defense = peace through strength. China and Russia are watching, and they need to know America means business.
