In a jaw-dropping display of anti-American blame-shifting, Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) had the audacity to suggest that President Donald Trump's strong rhetoric somehow "incited" Iran to shoot down an American F-15 fighter jet over Iranian airspace.
Speaking on MSNBC's "The Weekend" Friday, Dean incredibly claimed that Trump "bloviated and bragged about the destruction of Iran's ability to compete" in a way that seemed like it would "incite such an attack" on our military.
Let that sink in, Patriots. A sitting member of Congress just blamed the President of the United States for Iran's act of war against American forces, rather than holding the terrorist regime in Tehran accountable for their aggression.
Democrats Side With Iran Over America
This is the same sick playbook we've seen from the radical left for years. When Islamic terrorists attack Americans, Democrats immediately rush to blame... America. When Iran targets our military, they point fingers at Trump instead of our enemies.
Dean's comments represent everything wrong with the Democrat Party's appeasement-first foreign policy. Rather than demanding swift retaliation against the Iranian regime, she's essentially providing cover for their terrorist actions by suggesting Trump "provoked" them.
What exactly was Trump supposed to do? Whisper sweet nothings to the mullahs? Send them another pallet of cash like Obama did?
America First Means Speaking From Strength
President Trump's "rhetoric" that Dean finds so offensive is actually called leadership. When you're dealing with terrorist regimes like Iran, you don't negotiate from weakness—you speak from a position of strength and make it clear that attacks on Americans will have severe consequences.
The Iranian regime respects only force and strength. They understand that under Trump's America First agenda, there will be real consequences for their terrorist activities, unlike the appeasement they received during the Obama-Biden years.
Dean's disgraceful comments show exactly why voters rejected the Democrats' weak foreign policy in 2024. Americans are tired of politicians who blame America first and coddle our enemies.
How long will Democrats continue to side with America's enemies over our own military and President?
