In a stunning display of Trump Derangement Syndrome, Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) had the audacity to blame President Trump's "rhetoric" for Iran shooting down an American F-15 fighter jet, proving once again that Democrats will twist any tragedy to attack our Commander-in-Chief.
During Friday's broadcast of MSNBC's "The Weekend," Dean disgracefully suggested that Trump's strong stance against the Iranian regime somehow "incited" their act of war against American forces. The Pennsylvania Democrat claimed Trump's tough talk about "the destruction of Iran's ability to compete" was somehow responsible for Iran's decision to fire on our military.
This is exactly the kind of America-Last thinking that got us into this mess in the first place. While Trump projects strength and puts America First, weak Democrats like Dean are more concerned with protecting Iran's feelings than defending our brave servicemen and women.
The Real Problem: Four Years of Biden Weakness
What Dean conveniently ignores is that Iran's aggression stems from four years of the disastrous Biden administration appeasing Tehran at every turn. Biden's weak foreign policy emboldened Iran, gave them billions in sanctions relief, and signaled that America wouldn't fight back against their terrorist activities.
Now that we finally have a president willing to stand up to Iran's mullahs, Democrats like Dean want to blame Trump for Iran's predictable tantrum. This is the same backwards logic that blames rape victims for wearing short skirts.
"When you have a president who bloviates and brags about destroying another nation's capabilities, you shouldn't be surprised when they lash out," Dean said, apparently forgetting that Iran chants 'Death to America' every single day.
Patriots across America are sick and tired of Democrats who rush to defend our enemies while attacking our own president. Trump's strength is exactly what we need to deter Iranian aggression, not encourage it.
The real question is: Why does Rep. Dean seem more upset with Trump's words than Iran's missiles?
