House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) is rushing to defend NATO's freeloading allies after President Trump rightfully called out the alliance's pathetic failure to support America during the escalating Iran conflict.

In a desperate Sunday appearance, Jeffries whined that Trump should stop issuing "threats" against so-called allies who have proven they're nothing more than paper tigers when America needs them most. The President has justifiably slammed NATO in recent weeks for their complete inability to effectively target Iran alongside the U.S. or secure the vital Strait of Hormuz.

"We should not walk away from an alliance that has actually kept the world and the United States as safe as possible in the aftermath of World War II," Jeffries claimed, apparently living in a fantasy world where NATO allies actually contribute their fair share.

"@RepJeffries we the people want out of that nazi nato grift. They're proving they would be useless in a war. President Trump is exposing them as paper tigers not worthy of defending," fired back patriot @FrederickLeath5 on social media, perfectly capturing what real Americans think about this corrupt alliance.

Social media erupted with support for Trump's America First approach. "Hakeem Jeffries defends NATO—who hasn't stepped up for the US during the Iran conflict—and trashes President Trump," noted @Jules31415, highlighting the obvious contradiction in Jeffries' position.

This is classic Democrat behavior: rushing to defend foreign interests while attacking the President who's actually fighting for American taxpayers. For decades, NATO members have been content to let America foot the bill while they sit back and criticize our foreign policy.

Trump Exposes the NATO Scam

President Trump's willingness to call out these freeloaders is exactly why Americans elected him twice. Unlike the weak Biden administration that kowtowed to European elites, Trump demands accountability from allies who want American protection without American input.

When Iran threatens global shipping lanes and energy supplies, where are our NATO "partners"? Nowhere to be found, just like always. Yet Jeffries wants Americans to keep writing blank checks to defend countries that won't defend themselves—or us.

The American people see through this globalist scam. It's time our allies either step up or step aside while President Trump puts America First, just like he promised.

My son served overseas and saw firsthand how little some of these NATO allies contribute while expecting full protection. It's infuriating that Jeffries defends this broken system.

Thank your son for his service! Same story here - our kids risk everything while Europe sits back and criticizes us.

Finally someone calling out these NATO freeloaders! Trump was 100% right about making them pay their fair share instead of relying on American taxpayers to foot the bill.

Exactly! We've been subsidizing Europe's defense for decades while they spend OUR money on their social programs.

Jeffries is just another swamp creature protecting the establishment. When will these Democrats realize that America First isn't a slogan, it's a necessity?

Can someone explain why we're still propping up countries that can afford universal healthcare but somehow can't meet their 2% GDP defense spending commitment?
