Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) has been exposed in yet another sexual harassment scandal, with newly released text messages revealing the Trump-endorsed congressman bombarded his campaign's political director with vulgar messages in 2020, asking for nude photos and inquiring about "what kind of panties" she wore.

The bombshell revelation comes as Gonzales faces mounting scrutiny over a separate affair with a former subordinate who tragically died by suicide in 2024. These latest texts paint a disturbing picture of a congressman who has repeatedly abused his position of power to prey on female staffers.

Social media users are expressing outrage over the congressman's conduct. One Twitter user noted: "Years before Rep Tony Gonzales was exposed for his affair with a former subordinate who later died by suicide, the Trump-endorsed politician had relentlessly pursued his former campaign director."

"Tony Gonzales, then a congressional candidate, pursued a sexual relationship with a subordinate in 2020, years before his 2024 affair," reported journalist Bayliss Wagner.

This pattern of predatory behavior raises serious questions about Gonzales' fitness to serve in Congress. How many more victims are out there? How long has this congressman been using his political power to sexually harass his own staff members?

The timing couldn't be worse for House Republicans, who are working to implement President Trump's America First agenda. Having a scandal-plagued congressman in their ranks undermines their credibility and distracts from the important work of securing our border and draining the swamp.

Patriots deserve better than representatives who abuse their positions to prey on young women trying to build careers in politics. Gonzales' behavior is not just morally reprehensible—it's a betrayal of the trust Texas voters placed in him.

The question now is whether House Republican leadership will finally take action against this repeat offender, or if they'll continue to look the other way while Gonzales brings shame to the conservative movement.

As a conservative woman who's dealt with workplace harassment, this hits close to home. No staffer should have to endure this kind of treatment. We need representatives who reflect our values of respect and decency.

Do we have copies of these texts or just allegations? I want to see the actual evidence before making any judgments. Too many politicians have been falsely accused lately.

The article mentions there's documentation. Hopefully more details come out soon.

This is exactly why we need to hold ALL politicians accountable, regardless of party. Trump's endorsement doesn't give anyone a free pass to abuse their power and harass staff members.

Absolutely right. Character matters more than party loyalty.

This is disgusting behavior that has no place in our movement. Time to primary this creep out.

What's Trump's response to this? He needs to withdraw his endorsement immediately if these allegations are proven true.
