Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin just delivered a crushing blow to sanctuary city Democrats who think they can defy President Trump's immigration enforcement agenda. In a bold warning that has left liberal mayors scrambling, Mullin threatened to pull Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents from international airports in cities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration law.

This is what REAL leadership looks like, Patriots. While Biden's administration spent four years coddling sanctuary cities and allowing them to obstruct immigration enforcement, the Trump-Vance administration is making it crystal clear: cooperate with federal law or face the consequences.

Social media erupted with support for Mullin's hardline stance. Conservative commentator Pat Evans celebrated the move, posting: "🚨 BOOM: DHS Sec. Markwayne Mullin drops the hammer on sanctuary cities, they could lose CBP customs processing at airports until they start complying with federal immigration law."

Another user noted the logical conclusion, stating: "He's reached a logical conclusion... DHS Secretary Mullin Considers Pulling CBP From Sanctuary City Airports."

Sanctuary Cities Face Economic Reality Check

Think about what this means for these Democrat strongholds. Without CBP processing, international flights couldn't operate from these airports. The economic devastation would be immediate and severe. Airlines would be forced to reroute international flights to airports in cities that actually follow federal law.

This brilliant strategy hits sanctuary cities where it hurts most – their wallets. Mayor Adams in New York, Mayor Breed in San Francisco, and other Democrat mayors who have spent years virtue-signaling about "protecting" illegal immigrants now face a harsh choice: comply with Trump's deportation agenda or watch their airports become domestic-only facilities.

Secretary Mullin's threat comes as the Trump administration accelerates its mass deportation operations across the country. Unlike the previous administration's catch-and-release disaster, this White House is serious about enforcing immigration law and removing those who entered our country illegally.

The message is clear: the days of sanctuary cities operating with impunity are over. President Trump promised to restore law and order to our immigration system, and his team is delivering in spectacular fashion. Will these Democrat mayors finally put America First, or will they sacrifice their cities' economic future for their radical open-borders ideology?

Good for the DHS Chief! I'm curious though - what happens to airport security in the meantime? Will TSA still be there or are we talking about just the immigration enforcement agents?

Finally! These sanctuary cities can't have it both ways - defying federal immigration law while expecting federal protection at their airports. DHS should absolutely pull those agents if local officials won't cooperate.

Exactly right Mike. They made their bed, now they can lie in it.

This is what happens when virtue signaling meets reality. Actions have consequences.
