New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani just proved once again that the radical left never learns. In a stunning display of woke overreach, the progressive mayor unveiled what he calls the city's first "racial equity plan" – a thinly veiled scheme to institutionalize reverse discrimination that immediately caught the attention of President Trump's Justice Department.
The so-called "equity" initiative, which Mamdani claims will create a "more equitable future," is nothing more than the same tired identity politics playbook that Americans decisively rejected in November 2024. But apparently, nobody told the mayor that the era of racial grievance politics is over.
Within hours of the announcement, Trump's DOJ – led by Attorney General Pam Bondi – launched a review of the discriminatory program. Unlike the weaponized Biden Justice Department that turned a blind eye to anti-white policies, this DOJ actually enforces the Constitution equally for ALL Americans.
The Same Failed Playbook
Patriots should ask themselves: How many times have we seen this movie? Liberal politicians promise "equity" while delivering division. They claim to fight racism while implementing racist policies. They preach unity while tearing communities apart based on skin color.
This is exactly the kind of anti-American garbage that President Trump was elected to stop. While hardworking New Yorkers struggle with crime, inflation, and crumbling infrastructure, their mayor is focused on checking racial boxes and appeasing the woke mob.
"We will not allow any city to violate the constitutional rights of Americans through discriminatory programs disguised as 'equity,'" a DOJ spokesperson said.
The Trump administration's swift response sends a clear message: the days of government-sanctioned racism are over. Whether it's DEI programs, racial quotas, or "equity" schemes, this Justice Department will defend the principle that all Americans should be treated equally under the law.
How long will New Yorkers tolerate leaders who prioritize radical ideology over their safety and prosperity? The answer may come sooner than Mamdani thinks.
