In a major victory for Trump ally Steve Bannon and another devastating blow to the Democrats' weaponized January 6th witch hunt, the U.S. Supreme Court has cleared the path for President Trump's Justice Department to dismiss the criminal contempt case that has hung over the former White House strategist's head.

The high court's decision allows Trump's DOJ to move forward with erasing Bannon's conviction for defying a congressional subpoena from the partisan January 6th committee - a sham investigation that violated due process and constitutional rights from day one.

Social media erupted with reactions to the news. Reuters Legal reported on Twitter that "SCOTUS cleared the way for the DOJ to move forward with dismissing a criminal case in which Steve Bannon, an influential ally of President Trump, was convicted after defying a congressional subpoena."

Another user celebrated the development, posting: "The U.S. Supreme Court has cleared the path for President Trump's DOJ to dismiss the criminal case against Steve Bannon."

This move represents another domino falling in Trump's systematic dismantling of the Biden regime's lawfare campaign against his allies. Bannon, who hosts the popular "War Room" podcast and has been a fierce advocate for the America First movement, was targeted by the deep state for refusing to bow to their unconstitutional demands.

Justice Finally Served

The January 6th committee was nothing more than a kangaroo court designed to persecute Trump supporters and silence dissent. By allowing the DOJ to dismiss these bogus charges, the Supreme Court is helping restore faith in our justice system after four years of weaponization under the Biden administration.

Not everyone was pleased with the news. One critic complained on social media: "Sick of these fuckers getting away with everything. The DOJ is just a joke at this point," showing how the left melts down whenever actual justice prevails over their political persecution.

This victory comes as President Trump continues delivering on his promise to end the weaponization of government against his supporters. How many more patriots will finally receive the justice they deserve?

This gives me hope that we can start unwinding all the bogus prosecutions that came out of that January 6th committee circus. So many good Americans have had their lives destroyed over this.

I've been following Steve Bannon since his Breitbart days and the guy has always been a straight shooter. The deep state couldn't stand that he was exposing their corruption on his War Room podcast every day.

Finally! This whole Jan 6 witch hunt has been nothing but political persecution from day one. Bannon was railroaded by a corrupt system that weaponized the justice system against Trump supporters.

100% agree Mike. They went after everyone in Trump's orbit just to send a message.

Can someone explain what specific legal grounds the Supreme Court used for this decision? I want to understand the constitutional basis so I can share this with my liberal friends who think this is all political.

Executive privilege protections and due process violations were the main issues from what I understand.
