Here we go again, folks. President Trump posted on Truth Social about ongoing Iran negotiations, and the usual suspects are having another collective meltdown over his communication style. Some people apparently never learn.
The latest round of hysteria started when Trump posted a warning about fraudulent actors trying to insert themselves into U.S.-Iran negotiations. "Numerous Agreements, Lists, and Letters are being sent out by people that have absolutely nothing to do with the U.S.A. / Iran Negotiation, in many cases, they are total Fraudsters, Charlatans, and WORSE. They will be rapidly [dealt with]," the President posted on Truth Social.
Cue the predictable overreaction from the left and even some supposed allies. Critics on social media immediately began clutching their pearls, with one user posting "WTF? Does Vance even listen to what Trump says or read what Trump posts?" - completely missing the point of Trump's strategic communication.
"People are making the mistake that people have made for the last 10 years, is they are taking Trump literally, which you cannot do," Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow explained on "The Alex Marlow Show."
Marlow hit the nail on the head. After nearly a decade of Trump's proven track record, his critics still don't understand that his posts serve multiple strategic purposes - from messaging to adversaries to controlling the narrative cycle.
Even more concerning is when supposed conservatives join the pile-on. Reports surfaced claiming a Navy SEAL who killed Osama Bin Laden said Trump needs to stop making "inappropriate" Truth Social posts and should "take a deep breath." This completely misses how Trump's unconventional approach has consistently delivered results where traditional diplomacy failed.
The President is clearly sending a message to Iran and any bad actors trying to complicate legitimate negotiations. But instead of recognizing this strategic communication, the establishment wants him to play by their failed rulebook - the same rulebook that gave us decades of foreign policy disasters.
Patriots understand what's really happening here: Trump is doing exactly what he promised - putting America first and not letting anyone interfere with that mission. The mass hysteria from his opponents just proves he's hitting his targets.
