Just three weeks into President Trump's historic second term, the unhinged Democrats are already dusting off their favorite political weapon: impeachment. Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) brazenly declared on CNN that impeaching Trump "has to be the Democratic agenda," exposing the left's complete inability to accept the will of the American people.
During Wednesday's broadcast of CNN's "Situation Room," Markey responded to questions about the feasibility of impeachment with Democrats in the minority by insisting "we must proceed towards the goal" of removing Trump from office. This comes despite Trump's decisive electoral victory and clear mandate from voters who rejected four years of Biden's failures.
What exactly has Trump done to warrant impeachment? Apparently, fulfilling his campaign promises is now an impeachable offense in the twisted minds of radical Democrats. The President has been busy securing our border, unleashing American energy, and putting America First – everything he promised voters he would do.
Same Playbook, Same Desperation
This isn't surprising to anyone who's been paying attention. The Democrats spent Trump's entire first term trying to overturn the 2016 election through bogus Russia collusion hoaxes and two sham impeachments. Now they're back to their old tricks, proving they view impeachment as a political cudgel rather than the solemn constitutional process it's supposed to be.
"The American people decisively rejected this kind of political theater in November," said one Republican strategist. "Democrats are showing they learned absolutely nothing from their massive losses."
What's particularly galling is Markey's timing. While Trump is working around the clock to fix the disasters left behind by the Biden regime – from the border crisis to inflation to foreign policy failures – Democrats are already plotting their next coup attempt.
Patriots should take note: this is exactly why we need to stay engaged and support President Trump's agenda. The swamp creatures will never stop trying to undermine the will of We the People. Will Republicans have the backbone to stand up to this latest assault on our democracy?
