Republican senators are finally ready to fight fire with fire, preparing to eliminate the Senate filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act and secure our elections from Democrat manipulation once and for all.
Senator Ron Johnson is leading the charge, applying what he calls the "golden rule" of modern politics: "Do unto others before they do unto you." And frankly, it's about damn time.
For years, we've watched Democrats threaten to nuke the filibuster whenever it suited their radical agenda. They eliminated it for judicial nominations when it helped Obama pack the courts, and they've been salivating to destroy it completely to ram through their socialist wishlist. Now that Republicans control the Senate, why should we play by rules the left abandoned long ago?
The SAVE America Act: Election Integrity Patriots Deserve
The SAVE America Act represents everything working Americans have been demanding since the 2020 election debacle. We're talking about voter ID requirements, cleaned-up voter rolls, and an end to the mail-in ballot chaos that turned our elections into a joke.
But Democrats know this bill would expose their entire election rigging operation, which is exactly why they're prepared to filibuster it into oblivion. They can't win fair elections, so they'll do everything in their power to keep our system broken and exploitable.
"We've tried playing nice with Democrats who have no intention of securing our elections," a GOP Senate aide told The Federalist. "If they want to obstruct basic election integrity, we'll remove their ability to do so."
This is the kind of backbone we've been waiting to see from Republicans. For too long, GOP senators have acted like gentlemen in a knife fight, clinging to "norms" and "traditions" while Democrats burned down every institution they couldn't control.
Time to Fight Like We Mean It
Senator Johnson understands what's at stake here. When Democrats control the rules, they use them as weapons. When Republicans control the rules, they traditionally play patty-cake and hope for bipartisan fairy tales that never materialize.
The American people didn't give Republicans control of government to watch them get rolled by Chuck Schumer's procedural games. They want action, and they want election integrity restored before 2026 and 2028.
Will Republicans finally show the courage to govern like they actually want to save the country, or will they cave to media pressure about "breaking Senate traditions"? Patriots are watching, and we'll remember who fought and who folded.
