In what can only be described as a desperate attempt to manufacture opposition to President Trump, Arizona Democrat Rep. Yassamin Ansari made the bizarre claim on CNN that her calls to remove Trump from office have "bipartisan" support – citing Nick Fuentes as evidence.
During Thursday's broadcast of CNN's "Situation Room," Ansari attempted to paint her anti-Trump crusade as having broad Republican backing, claiming that "many Republicans who were once avid supporters of President Trump" now oppose him, including "Tucker Carlson, to Marjorie Taylor Greene, to Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes."
The statement reveals either stunning political ignorance or outright deception. Fuentes, a controversial figure who has been at odds with mainstream MAGA for years, hardly represents the Republican base that overwhelmingly elected Trump to a second term just months ago.
Democrats Grasping at Straws
This laughable attempt to find "bipartisan" opposition to Trump exposes just how isolated Democrats have become after their crushing 2024 defeat. With Republicans controlling both chambers of Congress and Trump enjoying strong approval ratings, Ansari is clearly reaching for any narrative that suggests cracks in Trump's support.
"The American people spoke loud and clear in November – they want Trump's America First agenda, not the failed policies of the Biden regime," said one GOP strategist familiar with the administration's thinking.
What's most telling is that Ansari had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find supposed "Republican" opposition, lumping together figures who have had various disagreements with Trump over specific issues while ignoring the millions of Republicans who enthusiastically support the President's second-term agenda.
As Trump continues implementing his mandate – from securing the border to cutting government waste through Elon Musk's DOGE initiative – Democrats like Ansari are left manufacturing fake controversy on CNN's failing network. Patriots see right through these transparent attempts to undermine our democratically elected President.
How desperate have Democrats become when they're citing fringe figures as proof of mainstream Republican opposition to the President Americans overwhelmingly chose?
