Rep. John Larson of Connecticut has filed articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, claiming a social media post threatening consequences for Iran somehow constitutes an impeachable offense. The Connecticut Democrat is hyperventilating over Trump's strong stance warning Iran that their civilization could face serious consequences if they don't comply with American demands following weeks of U.S.-Israeli military strikes.
Let's be crystal clear about what's happening here: Trump is doing exactly what American presidents should do – projecting strength against our enemies and putting America First. Iran is a terrorist regime that has been threatening American interests and our ally Israel for decades. But apparently, standing up to Islamic extremists is now grounds for impeachment in the twisted minds of House Democrats.
Same Playbook, Same Failures
Larson claims Trump has "blown past every requirement to be removed from office" and insists Republicans have "an obligation to put patriotism over politics." The irony is thick enough to cut with a knife. This is the same party that spent four years of Trump's first term crying impeachment over phone calls and thought crimes.
"Donald Trump has blown past every requirement to be removed from office. And it's getting worse. His illegal..." Larson whined, apparently forgetting that defending America isn't illegal – it's the president's job.
What Larson and his fellow swamp creatures can't stomach is a president who actually fights for American interests instead of appeasing our enemies. Trump's tough stance on Iran is exactly why 75 million Americans voted to put him back in the White House.
Republicans control both chambers of Congress, so this impeachment fantasy is dead on arrival. But it reveals the Democrats' true priority: obstruction over governance, politics over patriotism.
