In what may be the most pathetic attempt at spinning anti-Trump sentiment as "bipartisan," Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) went on CNN's "Situation Room" Thursday to claim her calls for removing President Trump have Republican support - citing Nick Fuentes as evidence.
Yes, you read that correctly. This freshman Democrat actually believes listing a handful of fringe figures who've had public spats with Trump somehow represents meaningful Republican opposition to the overwhelmingly popular 47th President.
Ansari desperately rattled off names including "Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes" as supposed proof that her removal fantasies have cross-aisle appeal. What she's really doing is exposing how completely out of touch Democrats remain with political reality.
The Delusion Is Real
Let's be crystal clear about what's happening here, Patriots. Ansari is so desperate to manufacture opposition to Trump that she's grasping at straws, pointing to isolated disagreements and personal feuds as evidence of some grand "bipartisan" movement.
Meanwhile, in the real world, President Trump just delivered the most decisive Republican victory in decades, controls both chambers of Congress, and is systematically dismantling the failed Biden legacy piece by piece. His approval ratings continue climbing as Americans see results from the America First agenda.
"There are many Republicans who were once avid supporters of President Trump," Ansari claimed, apparently unaware that Trump's support among actual Republican voters remains rock-solid.
This is what desperation looks like, folks. When you're reduced to citing Nick Fuentes as your star "Republican" witness against Trump, you've already lost the argument before you started.
Democrats Still Don't Get It
What Ansari and her fellow Democrats refuse to understand is that the American people decisively rejected their radical agenda in 2024. No amount of wishful thinking or creative reframing will change that reality.
