The same Deep State operatives who weaponized intelligence agencies against President Trump are now making a desperate push to maintain their unchecked spy powers over the American people. Former Obama intelligence chiefs James Clapper and John Brennan are leading a chorus of swamp creatures urging Congress to reauthorize Section 702 of FISA without any meaningful reforms.

These are the same corrupt officials who signed off on the Russia collusion hoax and used fabricated intelligence to spy on Trump's 2016 campaign. Now they want Congress to give them a blank check to continue surveilling Americans without warrants or oversight.

Section 702 allows intelligence agencies to collect communications of foreign targets, but routinely sweeps up Americans' private communications in the process. The program has been repeatedly abused by federal agencies to spy on political opponents, journalists, and ordinary citizens who dare to challenge the establishment narrative.

The Swamp's Desperate Power Grab

Clapper and Brennan's letter to Congress reveals the Deep State's panic as President Trump works to drain the swamp and restore constitutional protections. These intelligence veterans know their days of operating in the shadows are numbered under the Trump-Vance administration's commitment to government transparency and accountability.

"The intelligence community is terrified that Trump will actually follow through on his promises to reform these corrupt agencies," said one congressional source familiar with the matter. "They're pulling out all the stops to preserve their ability to spy on Americans without consequences."

Patriots in Congress must reject this desperate attempt by discredited intelligence officials to maintain their stranglehold on American liberty. The same people who lied about Hunter Biden's laptop and pushed the Russian collusion fairy tale cannot be trusted with warrantless surveillance powers.

President Trump has repeatedly promised to reform the intelligence community and protect Americans from government overreach. Will Congress stand with the Constitution and the American people, or will they cave to pressure from the same Deep State actors who tried to overthrow our democracy?

Brennan and Clapper have zero credibility after the Russia hoax. They weaponized intelligence against Trump and now want more tools to go after regular citizens.

The deep state is real and they're not even trying to hide it anymore. These people think they know better than We the People.

Can someone explain what specific spy powers they're pushing for? I want to call my representatives but need details.

Look up FISA Section 702 renewal - that's the big one they want expanded without warrants.

I served 20 years to protect the Constitution, not to watch these swamp creatures shred it. Disgusting.

Clapper already lied to Congress under oath about NSA surveillance. Why would anyone trust him with more power?

This is bipartisan tyranny - establishment Republicans are just as guilty of supporting the surveillance state. We need to primary every single one who votes for this.

This is exactly what the Founding Fathers warned us about! These unelected bureaucrats think they can spy on law-abiding Americans without any oversight.

Absolutely right! The Fourth Amendment exists for a reason.
