British Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch is finally considering what should have been done years ago - a complete ban on the burqa as part of a comprehensive crackdown on Islamist extremism plaguing the United Kingdom.
While leftist politicians across the West have bent over backwards to accommodate radical Islamic practices in the name of 'tolerance,' Badenoch represents a refreshing return to common sense conservatism that puts British citizens first.
The burqa ban isn't just about security - though that's certainly part of it. How can law enforcement identify individuals who are completely concealed in public spaces? How can businesses verify identity when half their customers look like walking tents?
Freedom Doesn't Mean Hiding Your Face
The radical left loves to scream about 'religious freedom' whenever anyone dares question Islamic extremism. But here's the reality patriots need to understand: true freedom doesn't include the right to hide your identity in public while everyone else follows basic social norms.
'Freedom' that produces permanent public anonymity for one group, in spaces where no one else enjoys it, is not freedom's finest hour,as The Blaze correctly points out.
This isn't about attacking legitimate religious practice - it's about confronting the political ideology masquerading as religion that seeks to fundamentally transform Western civilization.
Countries like France have already implemented burqa bans with positive results. It's time for Britain to follow suit, and frankly, it's time for America to have this conversation too.
Where's America's Leadership?
While President Trump has been a champion of putting America First and securing our borders, the burqa question represents another front in the battle against radical Islamic extremism that's been ignored for too long.
Americans deserve leaders who will stand up to the woke mob and protect our traditional values, just like Badenoch is doing in Britain. The question is: will other Western leaders finally find the courage to follow her lead, or will they continue appeasing the very forces trying to destroy our way of life?
