The prospect of failed Vice President Kamala Harris mounting another presidential campaign in 2028 could be exactly what Republicans need to maintain their momentum heading into the midterm elections, according to Rep. Mark Harris (R-NC).
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News Saturday, Harris didn't mince words about what a Harris comeback attempt would mean for the GOP's electoral chances.
"It may certainly help" Republicans, Harris explained, as voters would be reminded "why they rejected her" in the first place.
And why wouldn't it? Americans have already witnessed the disasters of the Biden-Harris administration firsthand. From the catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal to the border invasion that brought millions of illegal aliens into our communities, Harris was right there co-signing every failed policy.
"The American people have seen what Kamala Harris represents - radical left-wing policies that hurt working families," a GOP strategist told Next News Network.
Harris's track record speaks for itself. As Biden's "border czar," she presided over the worst immigration crisis in American history. She championed defunding police while crime skyrocketed in Democrat-run cities. She pushed the Green New Deal agenda that drove gas prices through the roof and crushed American energy independence.
Now, as President Trump's America First agenda delivers real results - securing the border, bringing back energy dominance, and restoring common sense to government - the contrast couldn't be clearer.
Democrats' Desperation on Full Display
The fact that Democrats are already floating Harris for 2028 shows just how desperate and out of touch their party has become. After voters decisively rejected her radical vision in 2024, the left apparently learned nothing from their crushing defeat.
This gift keeps on giving for Republicans. Every time Harris appears on television defending her disastrous record, she reminds Americans exactly why they chose Trump's proven leadership over Democrat dysfunction.
Will Democrats really be foolish enough to run the same failed candidate who helped deliver them their worst electoral defeat in decades? Patriots can only hope they're that tone-deaf.
