In what may be one of the most brazen cases of liberal fraud in recent memory, a Democrat activist has been caught red-handed faking her own ICE detention while bilking unsuspecting donors out of thousands of dollars.

The elaborate hoax began in March when 28-year-old Sundas "Sunny" Naqvi claimed she had been arrested and detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for two days. Like clockwork, the usual suspects on the left immediately sprang into action, with Cook County, Illinois Commissioner Kevin Morrison leading the charge in howling outrage over what they believed was another case of "Trump's immigration crackdown gone too far."

But here's the kicker - it was all a lie.

Naqvi never spent a single minute in ICE custody. While she was spinning her sob story to sympathetic Democrats and anti-Trump activists, someone else was quietly footing the bill for her charade. The question Patriots need to be asking is simple: how many other "victims" of immigration enforcement are nothing more than professional grifters looking to cash in on Trump Derangement Syndrome?

The Democrat Outrage Machine Gets Played

This scandal perfectly exposes how the left's hysteria over President Trump's common-sense immigration policies has created a cottage industry of fake victims. These people know exactly which buttons to push to get Democrats reaching for their checkbooks and rushing to the nearest microphone.

Commissioner Morrison and his fellow travelers didn't bother to verify Naqvi's claims before launching into their predictable tirades about "inhumane treatment" and "family separation." They simply heard what they wanted to hear and ran with it, because it fit their anti-Trump narrative perfectly.

"There is no goblin so criminal, so vicious, that some Democrats somewhere won't screech like banshees at the notion of detaining or deporting them," as one observer noted about the left's reflexive opposition to any immigration enforcement.

Now that Trump is back in office and implementing the largest deportation operation in American history, how many more Sundas Naqvis are out there, ready to exploit liberal guilt for profit? And more importantly, when will Democrats finally admit they've been played by professional victims who see their outrage as nothing more than a business opportunity?

Will this person face any criminal charges for fraud? Stealing money from donors under false pretenses should have serious consequences.

Depends on how much money was involved and if prosecutors decide to pursue it. Usually these cases get buried.

These hoaxes do real damage to legitimate immigration discussions and make it harder for actual victims to be believed.

This is exactly why I stopped donating to random GoFundMe campaigns. These activist grifters have turned tragedy into a business model and it's disgusting.

Same here! Always do your research before giving money to anyone these days.

Another fake hate crime/persecution story falls apart when people actually investigate. How many more of these 'activists' are running similar scams?
