The allegations paint a disturbing picture of a man who clearly believes he's above the law. One woman courageously detailed how Swalwell sexually assaulted her not once, but twice while she was too intoxicated to consent. Two others say he sent them unsolicited explicit photos and videos - behavior that would get any ordinary American fired and possibly arrested. A fourth woman described how he kissed her without consent in a public setting, showing his complete disregard for basic human decency.
Democrats' Convenient Timing
Now that the evidence is overwhelming and the story is gaining traction, some Democrats are suddenly willing to consider expelling Swalwell from Congress. But here's the catch that should surprise absolutely no one: they're only willing to act if it doesn't hurt their political power.
This is the same party that spent years covering for Swalwell's relationship with Chinese spy Christine Fang, allowing him to remain on the House Intelligence Committee despite obvious security risks. They only care about accountability when it becomes politically convenient.
Where was this concern when Swalwell was compromised by foreign agents? Where was their moral outrage when he was using his position to target President Trump with bogus investigations while hiding his own misconduct?
