Just days before facing justice for allegedly stealing over $15 million in federal funds, corrupt Democrat Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick's legal team is scrambling to delay her fraud trial until February 2027 – a full year from now.

The Florida Democrat, who faces more than 15 fraud charges following a House Ethics Committee investigation last month, was scheduled to stand trial this week. But like so many swamp creatures before her, Cherfilus-McCormick is desperately trying to postpone her day of reckoning.

This is exactly the kind of Washington corruption that President Trump campaigned against and why Americans voted for his return to drain the swamp once and for all.

Another Democrat Caught Red-Handed

The charges stem from allegations that Cherfilus-McCormick systematically looted federal taxpayer dollars while serving in Congress. The House Ethics Committee's findings paint a picture of brazen theft that would make even the most hardened criminals blush.

But here's what's really infuriating: while hardworking Americans struggle with inflation and high taxes, this Democrat was allegedly lining her pockets with our money. And now she wants to delay facing the consequences for an entire year?

"This is what happens when you elect swamp creatures who think the rules don't apply to them," said one GOP House member who requested anonymity.

The timing of this delay request is particularly suspicious. With Republicans now in control of Congress and President Trump back in the White House, corrupt Democrats know their days of protection from the deep state are numbered.

Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied

Patriots should be asking themselves: why does a Democrat facing 15 fraud charges get to delay her trial while January 6th protesters were railroaded through the system at warp speed?

This two-tiered justice system is exactly what Trump's Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi needs to address. No more special treatment for corrupt politicians just because they have a 'D' next to their name.

Will Cherfilus-McCormick finally face justice for allegedly stealing millions from taxpayers, or will she get the typical Democrat get-out-of-jail-free card? The answer could determine whether we truly have equal justice under law in America.

DRAIN THE SWAMP! This is exactly why we need term limits.

Meanwhile they want to raise our taxes even higher. How about we start by not letting politicians steal what we already pay?

Exactly! We're funding their corruption with our own money.

Judge better not grant this delay. Justice delayed is justice denied, and taxpayers deserve swift action.

Does anyone know what specific charges she's facing? I want to follow this case closely.

From what I read it's wire fraud and embezzlement charges. Could be looking at 20+ years.

Why is she still allowed to vote on legislation while under indictment for stealing $15 million? The whole system is broken.

My late husband worked 40 years as a carpenter and never made close to $15 million. These politicians think they can just take whatever they want from hardworking taxpayers.

Typical Democrat playbook - steal millions then cry for delays when caught red-handed. Lock her up!

They always think they're above the law. Time for accountability!

The fact that she's demanding a delay tells you everything you need to know about her guilt. If you're innocent, you want your day in court ASAP to clear your name.
