DELUSIONAL: Cuban Dictator Claims His People 'Would Die' Defending Communist Regime That's Starved Them for 67 Years

Cuban puppet dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel just delivered one of the most tone-deaf statements in recent memory, telling NBC that Cubans would willingly die defending the very communist regime that has brutalized and starved them for nearly seven decades.

The so-called "President" of Cuba - really just Castro's handpicked successor - had the audacity to claim that any U.S. military attempt to remove him would be met with fierce resistance from the Cuban people. This is the same regime that shoots citizens trying to escape on makeshift rafts and imprisons anyone who dares speak out against their oppressive government.

What planet is this guy living on? The same Cuba where people risk their lives daily trying to flee to Florida? The same island nation where citizens have been reduced to eating zoo animals because of communist mismanagement? Where basic medicines are unavailable and the average monthly salary is about $20?

The Reality vs. Communist Propaganda

Here's what Díaz-Canel won't tell NBC: Cubans have been trying to escape his "paradise" for generations. Just last year, thousands more Cuban refugees arrived in Florida, desperately fleeing the poverty and oppression that defines life under communist rule.

The Cuban-American community in South Florida - many of whom are Trump supporters who helped deliver Florida in 2024 - know the truth about this regime. They've lived it, escaped it, and watched family members suffer under it.

"This is typical communist delusion," said one Cuban-American activist in Miami. "They actually believe their own propaganda while people starve in the streets."

President Trump, who previously took a harder line on Cuba than his predecessor, hasn't indicated any military action against the island nation. But Díaz-Canel's desperate posturing suggests the regime knows its days are numbered as more Cubans wake up to the reality that socialism equals suffering.

The question isn't whether Cubans would die for communism - it's how much longer they'll have to die because of it. When will the Cuban people finally get the freedom they deserve?

Question: How long can this charade continue? The Cuban people deserve so much better than 67 years of failed communist promises.

This is what socialist politicians in America don't want you to see - the real results of their beloved ideology. Cuba is exhibit A for why capitalism and freedom matter.

Exactly! Yet we still have politicians here praising Cuba's 'achievements' in healthcare and education. What a joke.

I served in the military and met Cuban-Americans who told me horror stories about life under Castro and now this guy. The cognitive dissonance is stunning.

This is exactly what happens when dictators lose touch with reality. The Cuban people have been fleeing to Florida for decades - that tells you everything you need to know about how much they love their 'glorious' communist paradise.

Absolutely right. My neighbor escaped Cuba in the 90s and he still gets emotional talking about the hunger and oppression his family endured.

Delusional is right! How can he claim people would die for a regime when they're literally dying FROM the regime due to starvation and lack of medical care?

Pure propaganda. Anyone who's talked to actual Cuban refugees knows the truth about life under communist rule.
