EXPOSED: Eric Swalwell Gets $22K Annual PENSION Despite Resigning in Disgrace

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) may be slinking away from Congress under a massive cloud of scandal, but the American taxpayers he betrayed will be forced to fund his comfortable retirement for decades to come.

According to a bombshell National Taxpayers Union analysis obtained by the Washington Examiner, the 45-year-old Swalwell is eligible to receive roughly $22,000 per year in taxpayer-funded pension benefits starting at age 62 – despite resigning in disgrace after years of scandals that would have landed any regular American in federal prison.

This is the same Eric Swalwell who was literally sleeping with the enemy – a Chinese spy named Christine Fang who infiltrated his office and compromised national security. The same Swalwell who spent years pushing the Russia collusion hoax while being compromised by communist China. The same Swalwell who weaponized his position on the House Intelligence Committee to attack President Trump while covering up his own treasonous activities.

Swamp Creatures Take Care of Their Own

While hardworking Americans struggle with inflation and watch their retirement savings evaporate, this compromised politician gets to ride off into the sunset with guaranteed money from the very people he betrayed. It's the perfect example of how the Washington swamp takes care of its own – no matter how corrupt or compromised they become.

The pension system allows members of Congress to collect benefits after just five years of service, meaning Swalwell's brief tenure of betraying America has earned him a lifetime payday. Meanwhile, our veterans – actual heroes who served with honor – often struggle to get the benefits they've earned through real sacrifice.

This outrageous situation highlights exactly why President Trump's second-term agenda of draining the swamp and reforming government is so critical. Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency should put congressional pension reform at the top of their list.

Patriots deserve better than watching their tax dollars fund the comfortable retirement of a man who sold out America to communist China. When will we finally say enough is enough to this rigged system that rewards corruption while punishing patriotism?

Does anyone know if there's a way to petition to have his benefits revoked? There has to be some mechanism for cases involving national security breaches.

Unbelievable but not surprising.

$22K might not sound like much to some people, but that's real money coming out of our pockets. I served 20 years in the military and had to jump through hoops for my benefits, yet politicians get theirs automatically no matter how badly they screw up.

Thank you for your service! You're absolutely right - our veterans deserve better treatment than corrupt politicians.

Absolutely disgusting! How does someone who compromised national security get to keep ANY benefits? This is exactly what's wrong with our government - zero accountability for the swamp creatures.

100% agree! Meanwhile hardworking Americans are struggling to make ends meet and this guy gets rewarded for his failures.

This is why we need pension reform for Congress. No more golden parachutes for people who betray the public trust!

Wait, he RESIGNED in disgrace but still gets the pension? Can someone explain how that works legally?

My husband got fired from his job for a minor policy violation and lost everything. Meanwhile politicians can have Chinese spy scandals and keep getting paid by taxpayers. Make it make sense!

Same thing happened to my brother-in-law. The double standard is infuriating.
