A former Army employee who sold out America's most elite special operations unit is getting kid-glove treatment from federal judges, raising serious questions about our justice system's priorities under the previous administration's holdover appointees.

Courtney Williams, 40, of Wagram, North Carolina, was placed under house arrest Monday after being charged with leaking classified information about Delta Force operations. U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian Meyers ordered her release to home detention while she awaits trial for what amounts to nothing short of treason against our nation's warriors.

This is exactly the kind of soft-on-national-security approach that President Trump's second administration is working to fix. While our Delta Force operators put their lives on the line in the most dangerous missions imaginable, this woman allegedly betrayed their secrets—and she gets to sit comfortably at home?

Deep State Rot Runs Deep

Williams' case represents everything wrong with the bureaucratic swamp that President Trump inherited. How many other Obama and Biden-era government employees are still embedded in our defense apparatus, potentially compromising our national security?

The timing couldn't be more critical. As the Trump-Vance administration works to restore American military dominance and clean house in the Pentagon, cases like this expose just how compromised our systems became under Democrat leadership.

"Every classified leak puts American lives at risk and aids our enemies," a former Pentagon official told Next News Network. "The fact that someone trusted with Delta Force secrets could allegedly betray that trust shows we need serious reform."

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has made rooting out security risks a top priority, and this case proves why. Our special operations forces—the tip of the spear in America's fight against global terrorism—deserve better than having their missions compromised by government insiders.

Patriots should be asking: How many more Courtney Williams are still lurking in our defense establishment? And why is the justice system treating alleged traitors with such leniency while January 6th political prisoners rotted in jail for years?

President Trump's mandate to drain the swamp has never been more urgent. Our warriors' lives depend on it.

This is exactly what's wrong with our justice system - different rules for different people! If this was a Trump administration employee, they'd throw the book at them. Delta Force operations should be SACRED and any leaks put our heroes at risk.

100% agree Mike. I served 20 years and saw how seriously we took OPSEC. This is a slap in the face to every soldier who follows the rules.

Does anyone know what specific information was leaked? I'm trying to understand the scope of damage this could have caused to our special operations.

Soft treatment is right! My nephew is in the 82nd Airborne and he says even talking about basic training details can get you in trouble. Meanwhile this person leaks Delta Force secrets and gets a hand slap? Our military deserves better protection than this.

Your nephew is absolutely right. The double standard here is infuriating!
