According to reports, progressive activists are throwing epic tantrums over what should be the most nonpartisan thing imaginable – celebrating America's incredible journey from a handful of colonies to the greatest nation on Earth. But for these America-hating ideologues, even basic patriotism is apparently too much to bear.
The Left's War on American Pride
This hysteria perfectly exposes what Patriots have known all along: the radical left absolutely despises this country and everything it stands for. They'd rather have our kids learn to hate America, apologize for our founders, and bow down to every woke grievance than celebrate the nation that has brought more freedom and prosperity to the world than any other in human history.
For eight years under Obama and Biden, our children were force-fed a steady diet of America-bashing propaganda disguised as "education." Critical Race Theory, gender ideology, and anti-American revisionist history replaced actual learning about our founding principles, constitutional rights, and the heroes who built this great nation.
"These leftists are so consumed by their toxic ideology that they see teaching kids to love their country as some kind of threat," said one education policy expert.
President Trump promised to restore patriotic education and eliminate the woke indoctrination plaguing our schools. Now that he's actually doing it, the usual suspects are predictably melting down because they're losing their grip on our children's minds.
America Deserves to Be Celebrated
Here's what really drives these radicals crazy: America's story is genuinely incredible. From defeating the world's most powerful empire to abolishing slavery, from winning two world wars to putting a man on the moon, our nation's achievements are unparalleled. Teaching kids these facts doesn't fit the left's narrative of America as an irredeemably racist, oppressive nation.
The question every parent should be asking is simple: Do you want your children learning to love and respect the country that guarantees their freedoms, or do you want them indoctrinated by people who view patriotism as a disease?
