A new piece from The Federalist shines a glaring light on the hollow shell that the so-called American Dream has become. Folks, we can't keep pretending everything is just fine when, in reality, most Americans are struggling just to stay afloat.

For far too long, elites in Washington have been promising prosperity while lining their own pockets. The harsh truth is that the American Dream, once a vibrant beacon of hope, is now dimmed by the same bureaucrats who claim to champion it.

Walter Johnson's tweet captures this sentiment perfectly: "The American dream do you have to work 418 years to make in one year to make as much money as the CEO that runs our country usually does all this shit in our country. Nobody wins. do you work your whole life for the government? You’re an ant Every American." This statement resonates with the frustration simmering across our nation.

It's no wonder why President Trump has stressed an 'America First' approach. We are in desperate need of policies that put everyday Americans—not career politicians and mega-corporations—at the forefront. During his second term, President Trump and his administration have made significant strides in this direction with plans for mass deportations, economic deregulation, and prioritizing energy dominance.

But while these policies set the right direction, more must be done to restore true freedom and opportunity for hardworking Americans. Why should we pretend that everything is hunky-dory when it's clear that our government, dominated by RINOs and the radical left, continues to ignore the plight of average citizens?

Everyday Americans must rise up and fight back against the Deep State and globalist overreach that hinders our potential. It's time to challenge the unfair systems that serve the elite at the expense of the common man. What will it take to reclaim the American Dream?

As Patriots, we must hold the line and demand accountability. The question remains: How long will we pretend, or are we ready to fuel the fire of real change and make the American Dream achievable for everyone?

This article is spot on! For years, I've watched my parents struggle to make ends meet despite doing everything 'right'. The system needs a major overhaul.

This is true to an extent, but we should also remember that personal responsibility and hard work are still key. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Absolutely, personal responsibility is huge. But we can't ignore the barriers some folks face in today's system.

Did anyone else notice how social mobility has become a thing of the past? It seems like we need to tackle this issue at the root.

Amen! I always believed hard work would lead to success, but it's hard when the deck feels stacked. More people should read this article.

Right there with you! It's frustrating to see friends stuck in the same spot despite working hard.
