President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden had a Cinco de Mayo reception at the White House with the wife of Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, Beatriz Gutierrez Mueller de Lopez Obrador.
Biden quickly left the podium after speaking saying, “I want to take you in and show you my office too if you’ll come… I’ll show you Franklin Roosevelt.” Jill was seen beside him.
“I’m gonna go walk down and get [the First Lady of Mexico],” Joe Biden told Jill as he bolted from the podium.

It’s difficult to hear Biden say it but White House Correspondent for Breitbart, Charlie Spiering, reported on it.
“Jill doesn’t let me get into these conversations,” Biden said underneath the music playing.
Some people called the exchange creepy but it mostly looked to be a continuation of the confused gaffes that Americans have come to expect from the embattled President.
Biden also said at the event, “Well, I’m glad some woman in this crowd loves me. Well, thank you, Jill. I’m honored to welcome all of you to the White House, especially our distinguished guest, the First Lady. I’m going to go down and say hi.”
“Jill doesn’t let me get in these conversations, so I want to…” Biden finished.
Later in the speech Biden invited Mexico’s first lady back into his office.
“But I hope — I hope you all have a good time today. And, again, Madam First Lady, you’re welcome here. And I want to take you in and show you my office too, if you’d come. Okay? I’ll you show you Franklin Roosevelt, okay?”
