One of Bill Clinton’s former special advisors who connected the former President to Jeffrey Epstein died at the age of 59. He is the latest associate of the two men to die young.
There was no cause of death listed by the family in a statement released Saturday. He lived in Little Rock, Arkansas and local law enforcement told Dailymail.com that they were not investigating the death further. The Middleton family has not provided any further details to requests for comments by media.
Middleton ran an air conditioning business in Little Rock, but during Clinton’s Presidential tenure he was a special advisor and finance director for his campaign.
“The Middleton family has lost an inspiring and dedicated leader, as well as a son, brother, husband, and father,” the post says. “Mark leaves behind a company that he helped build from the ground up alongside his family and was proud to run for the last 25 years.”
Middleton was noted to fly on Epstein’s plane and seems to have been the bridge between Clinton and the disgraced pedophile. It’s been previously revealed that Epstein used his connection to Clinton to threaten underage women with his influence. White House visitor logs show that he was the authorizing signature on seven of Epstein’s visits to the White House – many of them to the West Wing.
After leaving the White House in 1995, he became an international deal-maker. A 1996 investigation found that Middleton was abusing his access to then President Clinton. Middleton denied the claims.
It seems that Middleton also used Epstein to impress the Clinton’s because he was the money manager for Les Wexner, the founder of Victoria’s Secret.
Middleton ran the largest HVAC providers across the state of Arkansas and was the managing partner of the investment firm MidCorp Capital.
“Middleton is survived by his wife Rhea, daughters Lindsay and Lauren, father Charles, mother Anita Middleton-Kellar, brother Larry Middleton, and sister Sandy Middleton-Marshall,” said Arkansas Business.
The family requested in his obituary that people donate to a service associated with New Life Church that delivers counseling and therapy to those who need it.
