Arizona’s Governor Doug Ducey announced Wednesday that they have begun bussing illegal migrants over 2,000 miles to Washington DC. He took the action following the footsteps of Texas Governor Greg Abbot in protesting Biden’s plan to end Title 42, a pandemic-era migration policy used to turn away migrants.

The news released put out by Ducey claimed that the trips were voluntary and were necessary because there had been “little action or assistance from the federal government.”

“Cartels [are] preying on those seeking refuge for a better life, and facilitating the flow of drugs into American communities. And — these criminals are using your companies’ social media platforms to make it happen,” the Governor wrote in a statement.

Governor Gregg Abbot announced back on April 6 that his “Operation Lone Star” has sent 35 busses filled with 922 illegal migrants to Washington, DC in its first month.

Here’s a video of the migrants arriving in Washington DC.

This follows a move last year by Arizona’s Attorney General Mark Brnovich to sue the Biden administration to force them to keep constructing the border walls.

In the claim, they cited that illegal migrants are contributing to harming Arizona’s environment. The lawsuit was tossed in February.

“Migrants (like everyone else) need housing, infrastructure, hospitals, and schools,” the lawsuit included. They drive cars, purchase goods, and use public parks and other facilities. Their actions also directly result in the release of pollutants, carbon dioxide, and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which directly affects air quality. “

Brnovich is currently running for Senate in Arizona.

Do you think that these operations to move Illegal migrants from Southern states to Washington DC is an effective way to make their point heard by the Biden admin?
