In 2021, drug overdoses reached an all-time high in the United States, reports Fox News. One of the drugs leading this crisis is fentanyl. The reason: Biden’s open borders.
Last month alone, Border Patrol seized over 90 pounds of fentanyl. That might not sound like that much, but it’s enough to kill more than 10 million Americans. The country has just reached one million dead from Covid-19, far less lives than that 90 pounds of fentanyl could claim. And yet the Biden administration pays no attention.
The group ‘Families Against Fentanyl’ are calling on the Biden administration to count drug deaths like Covid deaths. The group is advocating for more urgent, real-time data so officials can identify the areas most affected by the crisis and intervene accordingly to save potential victims, reports Fox News.
Sandy Snodgrass lost her son last October to a fentanyl overdose in Alaska. “He received so much fentanyl that the police told me he probably dropped and died where he stood. He was within shouting distance of help and wasn’t able to shout.”
That is just heartbreaking. Snodgrass says, “[t]he border is the first order of business, and the major problem that we have in this country is the open border that’s allowing fentanyl into the country.” And on May 23 the problem is set to get far worse, thanks to Joe Biden.
Founder of Families Against Fentanyl Jim Rauh, lost his son to an overdose in 2015. He said “[t]his was a rarity a couple of years ago. Now it’s a commonality. We’re finding that this growth is extremely alarming. We want this material tracked by COVID and treated like a weapon of mass destruction, what it really is.”
Why would Biden obsess about Covid-19 deaths, yet ignore overdose deaths? That 90 pounds of fentanyl confiscated at Biden’s open borders would kill 10 times the number of people Covid has in 3 years. Yet Biden ignores the border. Which do you think is a worse problem?
