Elon Musk tweeted that he is voting for Republicans in 2022 in the midterms because he believes that Democrats have become the party of hate and division.
On Wednesday, he tweeted: “In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party.”
“But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold.”
This echoes his other statement on Monday, which we covered on the Next News Network: “The issue here is that the Democrat party is overly controlled by the unions and by the trial lawyers – particularly the class action lawyers,” Musk explained on the show. “And generally if you see something that is not in the interest of the people on the Democrat side, it’s going to come because of unions – which is just another form of monopoly – and the trial lawyers.”
He didn’t spare his opinion on Republicans either. “On the Republican side – if you [ask] why is something not ideal happening, it’s because of corporate evil and religious zealotry,” he added.
Musk also discussed his thoughts on who the real president is in the Biden admin in a joke where he brought up Will Farrell’s character in Anchorman.

“The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter,” Musk said. “The path to power is the path to the teleprompter.”
Musk has seemingly admitted that he never voted for the GOP. In 2019, he announced his support for Andrew Yang in the Democrat Presidential primary.
Musk said recently that he will reinstate former President Donald Trump’s account on the platform if his takeover is successful.
