On Tuesday, Clinton campaign-tied attorney Michael Sussman was ruled “not guilty” for lying to the FBI, the charges brought against him by Special Counsel John Durham, and Trump raged against “corrupt” decision on Truth Social
The attorney, Sussman, was the one that gave the FBI the information allegedly connecting Trump to Russia’s Alfa Bank. The FBI found these claims to be false. He was being investigated by Durham for his role in the spying on the Trump campaign in 2016.
Trump posted on Truth Social about the verdict and and attacked the “corrupt” justice system.
“Our Legal System is CORRUPT, our Judges (and Justices!) are highly partisan, compromised or just plain scared, our Borders are OPEN, Inflation is RAMPANT, gas prices and food costs are “through the roof,” our Military “Leadership” is Woke, our Country is going to HELL, and Michael Sussmann is not guilty. How’s everything else doing? Enjoy your day!”

In a message much different than the former Presieent, Special Counsel John Durham said in response to the verdict, “While we are disappointed in the outcome, we respect the jury’s decision and thank them for their service. I also want to recognize and thank the investigators and the prosecution team for their dedicated efforts in seeking truth and justice in this case.”
Trump claimed that Sussman and other federal agents were the beginning of the “deep state” cabal that sought to destroy his presidential campaign and his presidency.
Donald Trump Jr. followed suit on Twitter in attacking the verdict and saying that he was not “shocked” by the news.
“I’m shocked the DC Clinton donor jury let Clinton’s lawyer off… HAHAHA just kidding, absolutely no one is shocked. Hunter Biden off next then Paul Pelosi etc etc. We all know how this goes by now… Only people not tied to the establishment DC swamp ever face accountability,” tweeted Trump jr.

Several Twitter conservatives echoed Trump’s sentiment.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green also dropped her opinion on the verdict and said she expected it as well.
“I’ve never understood why anyone had any real expectations from the Durham investigation. It’s been years and no one is ever held accountable and no one goes to jail in spite of clear evidence,” Greene wrote on Twitter.
