The security camera at a zoo in Amarillo, TX caught footage of what appears to be some sort of humanoid monster.
The City of Amarillo Twitter account posted about the “strange image”, asking if anyone could help to identify it.
The tweet reads, “The Amarillo Zoo captured a strange image outside the zoo in the dark and early morning hours of May 21 (around 1:25 a.m.). Is it a person with a strange hat who likes to walk at night? A chupacabra? Do you have any ideas of what this UAO- Unidentified Amarillo Object could be?”

Twitter users were quick to answer the city’s questions.
One user suggested the beast may be Rocket Racoon from the Marvel film series Guardians of the Galaxy.
It’s clearly Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy! pic.twitter.com/4s13do3K6k

Another user suggested it could actually be a coyote trying to climb the fence and enter the zoo. They even posted a reference image to prove their point.
My guess would be Coyote jumping the fence rotated a bit right of being directly facing the camera. It’s probably blurry compared to the surrounds due to the speed of the coyote mid jump and the low light/ exposure time the camera has. pic.twitter.com/3uFjCQXG6l

A third suggested it could even be Elon Musk. Musk recently moved to Texas along with his company and is well known for performing public stunts for laughs.
It's Elon Musk looking for attention. It's just getting sad at this point.

The wendigo is a creature found in many different Native American cultures. It often begins as a man who performs an act of cannibalism, afterwards having to feed on humans to survive and growing less-and-less human in appearance every time.
The skin-walker, also known as yee naaldlooshii in its original Navajo, is a dangerous mythical witch that has the ability to transform between a human being and an animal. They can also possess other animals or humans and control their actions.
The third creature of legend, el Chupacabra, translates directly to goat sucker. It is a 4 legged vampiric monster, capable of standing on two legs, that feeds on the blood of farm animals like goats and roosters in Mexico and southern Texas.
While it’s just as likely that the creature in the image is just a teenager in a wolf costume, it’s fun to speculate on what it could possibly be. What do you think the true identity of the Unidentified Amarillo Object was?
