On Sunday, President Joe Biden rode his bike around Delaware’s Rehoboth Beach near where he fell of his bike while coming to a stop earlier this year.
During the ride, he was heckled by one person telling him, “Hey, where your’ f***king training wheels at?” Watch the clip below. Beware there is strong language in it.
Afterwards, Biden chatted with the press and took their easy questions. In a kind of hilarious aside, Biden put his hand on top of his helmet, and said “I’m gonna look like a fool here.”
“You look good!” a reporter yelled.
“I put a helmet on because it’s a tough interview!” Biden said.
Biden then discussed abortion with the press. One reporter asked him, “Do you have a, do you have a message Mr. President for women who were protesting outside the White House yesterday?”
Biden, “Yes. Keep protesting. Because, keep making your point. It’s critically important. We can do a lot of things to accommodate the rights of women in the mean time. But fundamentally the only thing that’s gonna change this if we have a national law that reinstates Roe v. Wade.”
The president discussed his plans for declaring public health emergency over the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade.
Thankfully, he did not fall this time and was able to keep his feet in the stirrups of the bike correctly. On June 18th, Biden fell off his bike while riding and stopping to talk to reporters. The White House reported that he was fine at the time and he has seemed so since, but he should keep wearing that helmet.
