Like him or not, there’s one thing no one can deny about Donald Trump: he is not a quitter. Most people did not think he could win the presidency of the United States, but he kept going and won. He’s had multiple bankruptcies but continued in business with great success. Now, he’s in a dispute with Wisconsin’s Assembly Speaker that further shows Trump’s tenacity.
Recently, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that absentee ballot drop boxes in the state are illegal. Absentee ballots favored Biden in a tight race won by only 21,000 votes in Wisconsin. The ruling may have prompted a phone call from Donald Trump to Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.
Vos says Trump called him last week to try to convince Wisconsin Republicans to decertify the state’s 2020 presidential results. “It’s very consistent,” Vos said in an interview for UPFRONT. “He makes his case, which I respect. He would like us to do something different in Wisconsin. I explained it’s not allowed under the constitution. He has a different opinion, and then he put out the tweet. So that’s it.”
Following the phone conversation, according to Vos, Trump posted: “Looks like Speaker Robin Vos, a long time professional RINO always looking to guard his flank, will be doing nothing about the amazing Wisconsin Supreme Court decision stating loud and clear that the impossible to control Ballot “Unlock” Boxes in the State are ILLEGAL.”
Trump later said, in part, “I don’t know [Vos’] opponent in the upcoming Primary, but feel certain he will do well if Speaker Vos doesn’t move with gusto. Robin, don’t let the voters of Wisconsin down!” Vos had already said, “I think we all know Donald Trump is Donald Trump. There’s very little we can do to control or predict what he will do.”

Donald Trump believes what he believes. Vos is correct as well that Trump can’t be controlled or predicted. Do you Trump’s call to Vos helps him, as far as support if he does choose to run again?
