Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or AOC as she’s often called, is the darling of the far-left. She’s young, pretty, and has a lot to say. She’s been especially vocal, if not dramatic, self since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. She acts as if abortion has been outlawed when the issue was merely sent back to the states. Tucker Carlson recently had some fun with Alexandria, who he calls Sandy, on his show.
On Tuesday, Sandy, as Carlson calls her, was arrested with fellow Congresswoman Ilhan Omar during a protest outside the Supreme Court in favor of abortion rights. They weren’t the only Democrats that were arrested either. Other progressives who were arrested were Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., Nydia Velazquez, D-N.Y., Jackie Speier, D-Calif., Sarah Jacobs, D-Calif., Katherine Clark, D-Mass., Andy Levin, D-Mich., Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., Madeleine Dean, D-Pa., Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., and Bonnie Watson Coleman, D-Calif.Â
The liberals were warned ahead of time that they would be arrested if they blocked traffic in front of the Supreme Court because doing so is against the law, but they didn’t listen.
Tucker Carlson had some fun with the whole thing on his show afterward. Referring to Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez as “Sandy,” and calling her one of the “feistier” members of Congress, he said she and others decided to block traffic in front of the Supreme Court “because girl power means blocking traffic.”
Tucker continued, saying those “mean cops” put both Sandy Cortez and Ilhan Omar in “invisible handcuffs” and led them away. He said that several members of the media used this treatment as proof that Sandy Cortez and Ilhan Omar are “deeply oppressed.” He noted that she was wearing a coat in 90-degree heat.
He then laid into the prior times where Sandy Cortez has dramatized her “lived experience,” including the time she “almost died” on January 6. Watch:
Of course, it later came out that AOC was not even in the Capitol Building on January 6.

Sandy Cortez is all about drama. She has a popular Instagram page where she regularly posts for her fans. She loves to get into Twitter arguments. She dramatized her experience on January 6 to the nth degree. And now she does this stunt, where she allegedly got handcuffed while protesting for what liberals like her call women’s rights. Does anyone take her seriously at all? That last tweet says it all.
