Joe Biden’s “Dark Brandon” speech is proving to be a bad move for the President. The divisive rhetoric filled speech received backlash on both sides of the political aisle and now voters are speaking up. A new poll shows just how angry voters are.

According to Just The News. More than half of likely voters think President Biden’s primetime TV speech last week represented a “dangerous escalation” in political rhetoric intended to “incite conflict” among Americans.
According to the Trafalgar Group poll conducted Sept. 2-5, respondents were asked two possible responses about Biden’s speech in which he described his political opponents as representing “an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”
Over 57% of respondents said the speech was a dangerous escalation designed to “incite conflict,” while 35.5% said it was “acceptable campaign messaging.”
Among 1,084 likely general election voters, nearly 8% replied that they were “not sure.”.
Joe Biden appeared to walk back his criticism of former president Donald Trump and his supporters, saying that he was condemning attempts to overturn a legitimate election rather than attacking conservatives.
As reported by Newsweek. Speaking to reporters on Friday, Biden said he wasn’t referring to “any Trump supporter” when he spoke about the threats posed to American democracy the night before.
In spite of his statement that not all Republicans embrace their extreme ideology, Biden’s remarks were heavily criticized by Trump supporters, who compared the president to Adolf Hitler. Some social media users suspected that the imagery behind Biden during his speech contributed to the “Dark Brandon” memes.
During Friday’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the administration did not consider Thursday’s speech to be “political.”
During the now infamous speech Biden called “MAGA Republicans” a threat to democracy and then turns around and says no Trump supporter is a threat. Which is it Joe? It’s no wonder his Press Secretary can’t keep track. Biden made a clear attack on Trump supporters and walked it back because he knew he went too far. What a coward
