Western Journal reports. A former Democratic National Committee chair railed at former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Sunday for saying the Jan. 6 committee lacks credibility. A segment of ABC’s “This Week” featured Christie and Brazile sparring. Brazile started the debate by claiming the House panel’s work resonates with the American people, according to a YouTube video. Next news network reported. Republican donors are seeking a “credible alternative” to Donald Trump and they appear to be leaning toward Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, reports the Independent. While DeSantis is currently seeking another term as Governor of Florida, there is a lot of speculation that he is concurrently planning a run for the White House. “A Reuters analysis of DeSantis’ social media ads shows he has dramatically expanded his out-of-state ads in recent months, an indicator, say some political analysts, that he may be laying the groundwork for a national campaign,” reports Yahoo! News. Of course, DeSantis is popular outside of Florida as well as inside, and he may just be seeking donations from out of state.
Eric Levine, a major GOP fundraiser, has said that the information that has come from the Jan 6 investigation has unnerved many Republican donors regarding Donald Trump. They are moving toward throwing their money behind DeSantis. Plus, several others have hinted that they may throw their hats in the ring, including Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, Nikki Haley, Tom Cotton, Larry Hogan, Chris Christie and Ted Cruz.
As Trump heads into the committee to testify about the events of J6, it’s clear that our fearless president has MAGA energy pumping through his veins. He will crush the Democratic war drums and any attempts to discredit him, thanks in part to the support of allies like Chris Christie. In the heated exchange with Donna Brazile, Christie refused to back down and instead smacked her with cold hard facts. It’s refreshing to see Trump surrounded by strong politicians who aren’t afraid to go to bat for him and defend the truth. Thank you, Chris Christie, for standing up for our President during this difficult time. Trump may be facing opposition from all sides, but as always, he will come out on top and continue making America great again.
