In a close race against Republican Adam Laxalt, Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) won a narrow victory, the Associated Press predicted on Saturday evening.
Breitbart reports, Following several days of delay in mail-in ballot counting, Cortez Masto secured a victory with just under 5,000 votes by the time the Associated Press called the race, with 48.7 percent for Cortez Masto and 48.2 percent for former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt.
Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly’s victory in Arizona gives Democrats a 50-49 Senate majority.
While Democrats nailed a few gimmes and had a much stronger night than expected overall, House Republicans still appear on track to regain the House majority and knock Pelosi off her perch.

Now that some of the final votes have been tallied, it is clear that the Democrats will keep control of the Senate while the Republicans are on track to regain the House majority. This means that Nancy Pelosi will be knocked off her perch as Speaker of the House. While a number of races are still to be decided, we need answers now.
