Biden made some incredibly ignorant remarks about guns to a reporter while enjoying Thanksgiving on Nantucket. His comments demonstrate that he has no real understanding of guns or the Second Amendment. It is hardly a good idea for him to form any policies related to this.
Red State reports, while remarking about the recent shooting at a Colorado gay night club by a suspect we later reported self-identified as “non-binary,” which totally blew the left’s “right-wing” narrative out of the water, Biden said: “The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick.”
Whether he realizes it or not, most modern guns are semi automatic.
And, Twitter users called out Biden’s wording when he said, “allow” the purchases of these guns.
“You’re not allowing anything. It’s a Right,” one person tweeted.
“Wow! “Allow”? There’s this thing called the 2A, which makes it a right for me to own my Glock. Let him try to repeal it if he thinks he can,” another said.
As noted by the American Lookout, Biden has no business discussing this issue.
Biden’s comment reveals a fundamental ignorance of how guns actually work. It also raises serious questions about whether he has any understanding of the second amendment. The second amendment is a god-given right that is enshrined in the constitution. It guarantees our right to bear arms, and it shall not be infringed. Hands off our guns, Joe Biden. You have no business discussing this topic.
