On SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow on Monday, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) said that House Republicans plan to investigate “the origins of COVID,” “the withdrawal from Afghanistan,” and “the laptop scandal,” involving Hunter Biden, the second son of President Joe Biden.
According to Scalise, who was elected as the next majority leader in the US House of Representatives, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) will investigate the items as the next chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.
As noted by the American Lookout, in six months, Democrats and the media will accuse Republicans of wasting the American people’s time and money, forgetting that Democrats conducted endless investigations when they were in power.
