Every fascist or communist dictatorship has a black list. And historically the people on that list often disappear without a trace. In the modern digital age the past dictators of nations have been replaced with new dictators of digital nation-states. Twitter is chief among them. Most dictators claim power by force however in the case of Twitter, Elon Musk overthrew the dictators there with the force of dollars. And what has just been revealed, in his latest “Twitter Files” dump confirms the fascists he overthrew had black lists of their own, and they used it to make conservative voices disappear without a trace.
Elon Musk’s latest revelation has everyone talking – the second release of what have been referred to as the “Twitter files” have been making headlines everywhere, and the repercussions are far-reaching. With right-wing commentators being targeted for suppression and news networks being accused of aid and abetting the silencing of conservative voices, it looks like we may be in for some big changes coming to Twitter – meaning our social feeds will never look the same again. These ” twitter files” confirm what we have been warning for years.
In these Twitter files, journalist Barry Weiss has revealed some of the most shocking acts of censorship.
Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was put on a “Trends Blacklist” for simply saying something that ran against the covid narrative.
And it got worse whenDan Bongino had the “Search Blacklist” tag applied to his account severely limiting his reach among Twitter users.
Conservative head of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk had the “DO NOT AMPLIFY” tag applied to his account.
Libs of TikTok appeared to have a red banner warning that read “Do Not Take Action On User Without Consulting SIP-PES.”
They too had a “Trends Blacklist” tag on their account.
That being said, this isn’t an isolated case either – Google, Facebook, YouTube and probably other platforms have been manipulating search results and content to conform to their own political agendas. We’ve only seen a glimpse into the real operations of this censorship regime, so it will be interesting to see what more Weiss uncover as she continues investigating these documents further.
New York Post notes, according to the former New York Times writer, the blacklists were developed secretly and “without informing users.”
Weiss wrote in a tweet Thursday, “A new [Twitter Files] investigation reveals that teams of Twitter employees build blacklists, prevent disfavored tweets from trending, and actively limit the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics — all in secret, without informing users,”
The revelations kept coming. The company has vehemently denied shadow banning its users.
According to Weiss, shadow banning users is internally known as “Visibility Filtering” or “VF.”
She explained further, ““VF” refers to Twitter’s control over user visibility. It used VF to block searches of individual users; to limit the scope of a particular tweet’s discoverability; to block select users’ posts from ever appearing on the “trending” page; and from inclusion in hashtag searches.”
Elon Musk has announced massive changes coming to Twitter following these explosive revelations.
In Musk’s tweet, he indicates that the shadowbanning technology remains in use on the platform.
As of now, it’s unclear when users will be able to verify their shadowban status.
What is clear however is that Mike Solana is correct when he tweeted, “They lied, relentlessly to our face, for years. we were right about everything.”
Victory for the people! The gig is up for the digital dictators and the so-called techno-facists, who have been caught manipulating the internet to serve their own political agendas. It was the forward-thinking, risk-taking maverick Elon Musk who unveiled the true insidiousness of Twitter, exposing them to the public through dollar power rather than force. Not only did Twitter officials get their hands caught in the cookie jar by censoring conservative thought, but Barry Weiss and Tesla founder’s Musk’s monumental reveal has shed a light on the manipulation. And now we can only hope we learn what is occurring at Google, Facebook, and YouTube as well. Twitter has been lying to us all along – thankfully now the truth is out there!
