The Biden administration pulls another controversial stunt never done before. This time inviting a drag queen to attend the marriage act signing. It’s unclear why they would do this, but many people are speculating it’s all for show.
The Daily Wire Reports, Joe Biden invited drag queen Marti G. Cummings to the White House to sign the Respect for Marriage Act.
Congress has passed legislation enshrining same-sex marriage protections into law in accordance with the Supreme Court’s ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges. On Tuesday, Democratic lawmakers expect to sign the bill into law with the support of 39 Republicans in the lower chamber and 10 in the upper chamber.
In a social media post, Cummings shared a screenshot of the White House invitation and expressed gratitude to the Biden administration.
This is one of the most controversial invitations to the White House, along with Biden’s invitation to Dylan Mulvaney – a biological male who identifies as a female.
Any drag queen being invited to the White House is controversial but this is more because of the content this person has aimed at children.
