GOP leaders are livid and adding fuel to the fire over a mysterious spy balloon that was recently discovered floating above the United States. China has come out with an official response that this alleged ‘spy balloon’ is actually a civilian airship conducting weather research. But intelligence officials across the board aren’t buying it, slyly accusing China of conducting a ‘dry-run’ ahead of an electromagnetic bombardment attack. Adding to the political drama is Secretary of State’s canceled trip to China and Biden’s refusal to answer questions about the Chinese spy balloon flying over the United States. It’s a clash of Cold War proportions, steps away from modern reality – who’ll make the next move? Stay tuned!
As fears over Chinese surveillance balloons and their potential impact on the U.S. military increase, there has been much criticism of President Biden and his foreign policy making abilities. On late Thursday, Republicans expressed outrage after the Pentagon acknowledged the discovery of a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon that floated above mountain state-based military bases this week. China asserted it was part of an airship used for research purposes; however, intelligence officials view high-altitude balloons as “delivery platforms” for secret nuclear strikes,
prompting ex-President Donald Trump to send a powerful message in response – SHOOT IT DOWN. Regardless of China’s avowed motives, it is clear America must deploy every precautionary measure to ensure national security is not compromised by escalating tensions between both countries.
Air Force Maj. David Stuckenberg, one of the nation’s leading EMP experts, told Secrets, “China’s recent balloon flyover of the United States is clearly a provocative and aggressive act. It was most likely a type of dry run [for a nuclear EMP attack] meant to send a strategic message to the USA. We must not take this for granted.”
On Friday, China claimed the balloon was a civilian airship used for meteorological research that was off course. Their spokesperson said, “The Chinese side regrets the unintended entry of the airship into US airspace due to force majeure. The Chinese side will continue communicating with the US side and properly handle this unexpected situation caused by force majeure.”
Rep. Kevin McCarthy, the Speaker of the House and a Republican from California, has called for an intelligence briefing on the issue.
On Twitter, he said, “China’s brazen disregard for U.S. sovereignty is a destabilizing action that must be addressed, and President Biden cannot be silent. I am requesting a Gang of Eight briefing.”
After the release of January’s jobs report, Joe Biden delivered scheduled remarks on the economy, but Americans and reporters weren’t focused on that.
Because Biden is aware that this is another crisis of his leadership, he didn’t answer any questions about topics other than the economy on Friday.
Following his remarks a reporter confronted Biden on the Balloon but he ignored the question and walked away.
According to Fox News, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has postponed his trip to China following the controversy over a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon detected over the northern United States.
Don Jr took the opportunity to poke fun at Eric Swallwell tweeting, “Apparently the Chinese have a message for congressman Eric Swalwell on their spy balloon.”

After the Pentagon announced the discovery of the spy balloon late Thursday, Republicans lashed out at President Biden.
Rep. Andy Biggs tweeted, “How on Earth is Beijing Biden allowing a CCP military balloon to fly freely over Montana? Biden is a feckless commander in chief.”
Sen. Tom Cotton tweeted, “President Biden should stop coddling and appeasing the Chinese communists. Bring the balloon down now and exploit its tech package, which could be an intelligence bonanza.”
While interviewing the former Defense Secretary under Trump, Mark Esper, CNN attempted to propagate the narrative that a Chinese surveillance balloon flew over the United States under Trump, and he pushed back.
The Department of Defense (DoD) is currently tracking the Chinese surveillance balloon over Montana that appears to be collecting sensitive U.S. information. Malmstrom Air Force Base, which is home to nuclear missiles Minuteman III, is located in the state.
The mysterious Chinese spy balloon continues to stir outrage among Republicans, who are convinced that the airship is an ominous sign of a future attack by China. With everyday Biden is in office growing into another national security risk, the secretary’s canceled trip to China and Biden’s reluctance to communicate about the balloon only furthers the fear that a devastating EMP attack may be on our doorstep. Trump sent a powerful message in response – shoot it down – which adds yet more drama to this intense situation. Whether or not this ‘spy balloon’ truly presents a realistic danger from China, clearly there is no room for complacency when it comes to protecting America from foreign threats.
