Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene announced Saturday evening that President Joe Biden would be impeached for funneling money to Ukraine while ignoring the ongoing crisis in East Palestine, Ohio and at the southern border.
Trending Politics reports, in the past few weeks, America’s attention has been focused on East Palestine, Ohio following a train derailment that released toxic chemicals into the atmosphere.
It wasn’t until former President Donald Trump announced he would be visiting the town that the disaster was widely ignored by the Biden administration and the media.
The ongoing border crisis is also causing Biden to face mounting pressure from Republicans.
Due to these ongoing crises, Taylor Greene announced on Twitter that Biden would be impeached for failing to protect the American people.
On Twitter, MTG wrote, “Joe Biden will be impeached. Ukraine is NOT the 51st state!!! We are in over $34 TRILLION in debt, borders invaded daily by the thousands, and Americans have been poisoned in East Palestine. ENOUGH!!! IMPEACH BIDEN!!!”
MTG was replying to a video of Biden announcing that American tax dollars will now go to pay for Ukrainian pensions and welfare.
MTG is not alone in her calls to impeach Biden. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has also hinted that impeachment will be considered in light of Biden’s failures at the southern border.
McCarthy argued that impeachment likely wouldn’t pass through the Senate, but it might force Biden to take the southern border more seriously.
Meanwhile, Biden spent another $500 million of our taxpayer money in an aid package to Ukraine during his surprise visit to the war-torn country on Monday morning.
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s announcement this weekend that Joe Biden will soon be impeached is huge news. We have a do-nothing President who has put the wrong priorities first – such as funneling money to Ukraine while America is suffering here at home. The mishandling of the crisis in East Palestine, Ohio and along our southern border are clear proof that impeaching Biden is now more necessary than ever.
