Anyone who watches the news can probably tell you one thing, Geraldo Rivera isn’t exactly a fan favorite. While his views on certain topics have left a bad taste in many people’s mouths, it was the recent incident involving Rivera that pushed the conservative majority over the edge. Now more than ever he has earned himself a spot on the list of news personalities that don’t make sense – a new theme for most will be to just mute the TV while he speaks. Thank God for the mute button.
The latest news involving Geraldo Rivera and his liberal leanings shouldn’t surprise many in the political world. After all, this has happened before and will likely happen again. That being said, his most recent tweet about President Biden’s visit to Ukraine stirred up some extreme controversy, with a tweet praising Biden for the insulting display. The majority of people on twitter took issue with his post.
Conservative brief reports, a tweet Geraldo Rivera posted about President Joe Biden has landed him in hot water again with critics.
As part of his surprise visit to Ukraine on Monday, Biden met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv. A note Biden wrote in the guest book of the Ukraine royal palace also stirred controversy.
Biden’s trip was marred by many issues, including the fact that he was in Ukraine instead of the United States on President’s Day. But that didnt stop Geraldo from praising Biden.
Geraldo tweeted, “Bravo Biden stand and deliver.”
Apparently, he is able to detect Pete Buttigeig’s incompetence, but not Biden’s.
The Twitter world was quick to lash out at Geraldo, with some calling for him to quit or be fired.
Patriot Alerts said, “Visiting Ukraine and offering them millions more in taxpayer funds is more important than visiting East Palestine, Ohio?! You should be fired.”
Dennis Michael Lynch Tweeted, “You’re such a tool, you always have been, you always will be, and if you only had a small idea of what the people at Fox say about you behind your back. LOL.”
And those were just the nice tweets.
It seems like the rules of engagement have been set when it comes to Geraldo. It’s almost as if anything beyond soft criticism of a Democrat official is off limits. That might explain why we shouldn’t be surprised that his take on Pete Buttigieg was so limited in scope – he may just know not to cross certain lines with the left watching him like a hawk. After all, the Democrat’s voting record last month spoke volumes about what kind of solidarity they possess. No one wants to break away from the pack and risk losing their cult membership.Â
